The objective of this paper is to provide a conceptual and theoretical understanding of the financial system in India covering majorly banking structure and functions and also to provide an understanding of the role in economic development.
This course explores the basics of Research Methodology with an emphasis on its use in conducting researches in the field of Economics. It covers various aspects of research in Economics, some key ones are: types of researches, research design, primary and secondary data collection, use of basic statistics, experimental method in Economics and report writing. The course is not theoretical in orientation but is more practical , with a view to involving the student in applying these concepts.
