Environmental Geology

Environmental geology uses geological knowledge to address interactions between humans and the  the biosphere, the lithosphere, the hydrosphere and the atmosphere.

It is a multidisciplinary subject that encompasses a variety of topics, ranging from Earth materials and their use to Earth processes, including natural hazards and their impact on human lives. The inter relationship of biotic and abiotic factors and their combined effect on the environment  is also an integral component of the course.
